- Priority Referral System allows rapid access to the Centre’s specialist surgeons. Urgent cases are usually seen within 36 hours

- qualified specialist breast care nurses providing emotional, practical and social support to patients and their families, before admission, during hospitalisation and after discharge
- thorough emotional and educational preparation for surgery
- regular consultation with your GP to coordinate medical requirements and support services.

- breast, shoulder and lymph care therapy, available through the visiting occupational therapist at inpatient level and as a post-discharge service
- expert services, technology and techniques to provide early and accurate diagnosis. Queensland X-ray women’s diagnostic facilities on-site help reduce patient waiting times
- visiting psychologist available to see patients and their families at inpatient level and post-discharge
- access to the “Mindful Parenting” Program for mothers of children under the age of 18 funded by chicks in pink
- access to the Younger Women's Breast Cancer Therapeutic Support Program to help participants address relationships, support networks, sexuality, fertility, grief and loss, fear of recurrence and stress management
- access to the Early Breast Cancer Therapeutic Support Group to increase social support, reduce anxiety and depression, learn active coping skills, and have reduced levels of stress and distress
- access to the Lymphease Unit Loan Program which manages mild discomfort and swelling to severe pain and more persistent swelling, experienced by some women after their breast cancer treatment
- referral of patients to attend the award-winning “Look good…feel better” sessions held at Mater Private Hospital Brisbane and Mater Private Hospital Redland.
